We live in a culture that doesn't honour the elderly. Youth is prized and people go to all kinds of lengths to retain their youthful looks. People think that old people are behind the times and stuck in their ways. But the Bible stands in stark contrast to modern attitudes. The physical signs of age are called "a crown of glory". We should push back hard against any temptation to adopt our society's abhorrence of the signs of age.
